By purchasing or booking any service with Hauza Studio, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are intended to ensure a clear, seamless, and professional experience for both parties.

Design Style Fit

Hauza Studio specializes in modern contemporary design blended with warm minimalism. By proceeding with a design package, you acknowledge that you are familiar with and aligned with this aesthetic. Design outcomes will reflect this style direction and are not intended to accommodate vastly different design preferences.

Design Queue & Timeline

Purchasing a package places you into Hauza Studio’s design queue. Start times vary based on volume but typically range from 1–3 weeks. You will be notified via email when your project begins.

Revisions & Design Changes

For 2D Design Plans and 3D Room Design packages, you have five (5) business days post initial design delivery for unlimited revisions with your designer. Mini 2D Concept Boards and Bookshelf packages have a two (2) business day post initial design delivery free revision period. Outside these time windows, we are more than happy to continue resourcing items but will charge a $50 fee per item.

Budget Expectations & Project Readiness

To ensure a cohesive, high-quality outcome aligned with the Hauza Studio aesthetic, minimum investment expectations apply:

  • Full Room Design: Your furnishings budget is at least $8,000+ per room. Main spaces (living room, dining room, primary bedroom) typically require $10,000+ to achieve a timeless, elevated result using quality pieces.

  • You acknowledge that timely implementation following design delivery is essential due to the nature of online retail and product availability and pricing. Hauza Studio is not responsible for items going out of stock or price increases. Re-sourcing outside of the included revision window will incur a $50 per item fee.

  • If you wish to secure your package but delay the start of your project, please indicate your preferred start timeframe during the initial Welcome email. Pricing is held for six (6) months from purchase as outlined below.

Purchasing & Product Guidelines

Hauza Studio provides design concepts, guidance, and curated sourcing. All item purchasing/ordering, installation, and implementation decisions are the responsibility of the client. We do not coordinate with contractors or oversee construction or structural changes. Because purchasing happens between you and each vendor, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Product pricing, availability, and delivery timelines can change at any time.

  • Vendors have their own return, exchange, and warranty policies.

  • Colors, materials, and sizing may vary slightly from what appears on screen so we recommend obtaining samples whenever possible.

  • We’re not able to take responsibility for shipping issues, product quality, delivery damage, or delays, since we’re not involved in the transaction.

  • Sometimes we may receive an affiliate commission when products are purchased through our links. This doesn’t affect your price, and we’ll always recommend items based on what works best for your space.

Measurements

All designs are created based on the photos, measurements, and information you provide. Hauza Studio is not responsible for errors or misfits resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information.

Payment & Refund Policy

  • All design packages must be paid in full prior to project commencement.

  • Once the design phase has begun, no refunds will be issued due to the custom nature of design work.

  • Package pricing is valid for six (6) months from the purchase date. Projects must begin within this timeframe to honor original pricing.

Communication

All correspondence will take place via email or Hauza Studio’s designated project platform. Phone or video calls may be scheduled if required but are not included as standard service components.

Exclusions / Assumptions

The following is not included in our work:

  • Architectural or structural changes

  • Electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work

  • Permit applications or approvals

  • Custom millwork or shop drawings

  • Construction supervision or contractor management

  • Onsite installation/styling services

  • Post-installation maintenance or repair coordination

Intellectual Property

All designs, boards, layouts, and materials created by Hauza Studio remain the intellectual property of Hauza Studio. Designs are for personal use only and may not be copied, resold, or used for commercial purposes without written consent.

Limitation of Liability

Hauza Studio shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or claims resulting from the implementation of design recommendations, product selections, or third-party service. We can’t guarantee the performance of third-party materials, furniture, or services. We’re not responsible for:

  • Manufacturer defects

  • Vendor availability

  • Pricing changes

  • Shipment delays or damages

  • Contractor performance or workmanship

  • Any issue outside our control

Social Media & Marketing

Hauza Studio may share completed designs for marketing, portfolio website and social platforms. This includes digital renderings and moodboards, client-provided photos, and professional photos arranged for Hauza Studio of the completed space. We will not share personal details (your name, address, etc.) without your written approval.

Force Majeure

Hauza Studio is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to shipping delays, major supply chain disruption, technical failures, natural disasters, pandemics or unforeseen emergencies. We’ll work together in good faith to resume when possible.

By purchasing a design service from Hauza Studio, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
